How do YOU make money!?!

I know this can be a touchy subject and I'm not asking anyone to reveal any big secrets or anything...I'm just wondering how the majority of UOR makes it's gold!

So I'll go first!!!

1) I'd say I make at least 50% of my gold from just straight up farming. I just love farming!! I love the feeling of downing a tough mob or mini-boss, I love the hectic craziness of trying to manage an area with heavy spawn, I even love the rush of escaping or fighting PK's lol I have a pretty good "circuit" with 3-4 spawn locations that I gate between where I can make trips to the bank with 10k+ gold, maps, plat, magic items, etc. every 8-12 minutes MAX using my tamer. I make a little less using my dexxer, but the badass slayers make it pretty easy and it's a fun change of pace haha. In general I'd say I average one "elite" (power/vanq) slayer drop every day or two (100k-500k+) on top of the gold/plat/maps/wands/regular "decent" slayers/etc.

2) Then probably 30-40% of my wealth is gained doing business on the forums or on Discord, literally just buying/trading/selling/flipping things for profit.

3) Finally, I just opened a vendor shop with a couple vendors and probably pull in 50k-250k a day from that, just selling the random stuff I get from adventuring, light tailor BODding, etc.

Some of the things I have literally NEVER done in UO to make money: smithing/smith BODS, fishing, treasure maps, AMIB's, X-Mas scrolls, champions/plat trains.

I know some people who EASILY make a mil a day And that is not counting big forum sales like blessed runebooks, anniversary stuff, etc. and I'm sure some of the activities I've listed above (especially level 7 maps, AMIB's, and X-Mas scrolls) play a big part in making that kind of loot!!!

So anyway....share with me UOR!! What do YOU do to make money in this game??!!

the occasional string of Champion farming for platinum and an IDOC everyday

I have a great gaming spot that I rarely see anyone and easily pull in 12k every ten to fifteen minutes with ease .

I am also HEAVILY invested in treasure maps to pull lvl 7 maps. I actually pulled 2 lvl 7 maps back to back from lvl 1 maps and 3 in total after doing 300 or so. Also pulled 2 other from lvl 4 maps.

Also, I love mining and sell ingots for a ton of profit.

I also just bought a great Yew sandstone next to the moon gate to put vendors up .

TBH... I spend way more than I make and can't stop buying t maps...

In no real order:

Ironman runs - Xmas scrolls, AMIBS, lvl7 maps
Casual Farming - I always do this single box, mostly destard and a few other hot spots.
Holiday event farming - Halloween, Thanksgiving, Xmas, Vday, Easter
Tmaps - When I have time I run lvl 1-5 Tmaps solo
Fishing - I mostly fish during @Zyler 's awesome fishing events, but its great money any time.
Battle mining - Always a great source of income, even better if you have a house setup for it.
BOD Sales - Loads of money to be made even if you just sell all the BODs you collect.
General Item Sales - Sell off all those extra holiday items, extra slayers, and other items you'll never use.
Zookeeper Pet Trades - You could make a full time job out of farming and filling zookeeper scrolls / selling the tames.
Dungeon Chest Spelunking - Unlock and dry loot all dungeon chests. Sell the contents and watch the gold pile up.
Champ & Harrowers - Currently the largest source of plat if your able to bring the heat.
Having Fun - About a quarter of my youtube videos are me running around with light level around 10% while killing low-end mobs. I may only net 10k an hour doing that stuff but if your always focused on MAX gold/hr then you will burnout. Never forget, this game is here for your enjoyment, its not your job.

1- Random Farming (aleatory dungeons looking for bosses).
2- Holiday coins (events and christmas scrolls).
3- Champs.

Definitely more on the casual side, with Tmaps, light farming, tailor BODs.. Also trying to work out how to use razor more effectively and trying to figure out the logistical nightmare that uo sometimes is The last two dont make money but take up a considerable amount of my playing time!

My money comes mostly from BODding and lowish level PvM, with occasional good luck in some of the holiday events thrown in.

Battle Mining is what i do nearly every day i'm on. I have a house near a couple of valorite nodes that spit out marbles. I can make 5-14K per hour (depending on how lucky i get with the pickaxe) and still have all of the ingots to sell/use.

I get the most fun out of running around and hacking away at the overland mob, as well as Level 1 TMaps. i keep and sell everything i get from them. What I can't sell, I CUB.

I sometimes BOD, too.

I've learned that the reason I love this game is similar to the reason I occasionally hate it: I can easily lose 10 hours in a day just having a good time.

Ironmanning Xmas scrolls and AMIB’s currently. Probably 150k profit from each regular scroll + any rare drop or slayer will add to that. Ironmanning WW and krampus will get you around 250k profit without rares or slayer drops. Potential for huge money there if you put in the work.

I exploit the labor of others.

(I buy mibs, nets and maps) and Ironman amibs.

By not gaming and working in a real job. Tehehehehe.
