No houses owned. All dropped. Sometimes a little sigh exits my throat, but no tears.

I don't think there ever was a housing crisis. The real issues here are much different ones.

I did, do, have a large cub pile. It's likely not the shards largest, I know of at least one other cub house that dwarfs mine (if it's still standing.)

If you think that one house in the corner of a swamp that you've never been to is contributing even a fraction of a second to save times, then you are incredibly stupid.

I started to barrel the cub on day 1, realized how much of a chore it was, and stopped doing it. The majority of my cub still stands, and I'll get rid of it someday, but your save times won't budge - I can guarantee you that.

As far as greed? Perhaps. Most of us on this server are greedy in a sense. Whether we are hording one more bag of cub, doing one more AMIB, doing one more champ or one more harrower, slaying one more elder gazer.. it's all the same shit. Instead of slaving behind 3-box tamers at spawns, I held onto cub. I was smart and knew it would have value some day.. and it does. I calculated my cub on day 1 and I have tens of millions (edited cause it's not quite 100) of gold in CUB.

A greedy Cynic would have packed his shit up a long time ago and sold it for cash, much like many, many, MANY, others have done here. Instead, I chose to stay a while, keep up hope that something would be done to benefit pvpers. Some changes would be made. I still have that hope, and until that hope is gone I will refresh. I've received a few, and it is quite welcoming.

As for his homes, they are being utilized once again.

I'd love to one day have "10s of millions, but not quite 100 million" to be considered "not a good enough reward".

For the record, I didn't say the rewards weren't good. The process is just too tedious, due to how I packaged CUB, and I'm just not interested in the rewards - whether they are copper, decor, or plain gold.

I've gotten PM's on discord from many people wanting to buy my properties, rares, and even my accounts. I've been offered gold, platinum, $, etc..

Being rich in this game was never something that motivated me. Even while I was idoccing like a fiend, it was the camaraderie, teamwork, and friends that kept me going. Doing idocs can be like a full time job, and some weeks it was not worth the time invested.. until you factored in the fun you had with all the friends you made along the way.

Throwing rewards, gold, copper, etc, at me will never motivate me to play in the manner that I used to. Creating fresh content, fixing the dozens of issues in pvp that have been brought up for years, and persuading people to start really playing again - that'll put a jingle in my jollies.

I get your position. My response was to "One" who stated....."Looks like we need better rewards".
