I am ALL about Skara Brae. I despise Magincia because it's such a giant chore getting from the moongate into town treading through that stupid jungle of bushes and roots and rocks.
1-Serpents Hold (stable close to bank) 2-Minoc( sentimental and quiet) and.. i never use vesper, cove, jhelom...
If I knew where the stable was in Vesper I'd probably use it more. Always have loved Brit and Glow but Minoc is a nice town, just can't repair at the blacksmith with a repair contract so that bugs me.
I loved starting in Skara Brae and hitting up the ranger huts for leather armor and the elusive Whip. The cotton fields weren't too out of the way either.
#1 Trinsic!!!! Best down in the game! You can not change my mind!! It is large and sprawling with many nooks often not adventured to that give it immense character. The RP event on OSI (undead town invasion) was something I will never forget. Having a sever mobilize to defend it and then retake it again was an event I still think about to this day. Running outside of town as a little noob and going into Hidden Valley to mine was something I will never forget.
Trinsic. Started there on OSI. Chopped wood in the forest surrounding the main gate, and then crafted and sold wooden shields for my income. Had a 5 minute conversation with a red NPC out there one day until I realized it wasnt a real person. Thought he was just quiet. West Brit will also always be special. Shouting at the bank to sell things, running up to the blacksmith to get armor made by the dude that RPd there on his Smith. Baja, his name was Robert D'Lyes. I used to call him Bobby D, which really annoyed him as an RPer. Fun stuff. Mining at the mountains and crossroads. As far as least favorite, definitely Yew. Never understood the appeal of a town where you had to run 5 minutes for everything.
I like Trin as a town but I hate the Moongate area with the hills, I never go the right way. It's annoying as he'll.
Magincia, Bucc's Den, and Brit (east)... Magincia because on OSI I was in CoM and there were a lot of fights at Magincia and Bucc's. Though, server line hoppers at Bucc's always made for some annoying battles for sure.
