Good Day! Looking to sell this mining house that I lucked into placing a few months back. I am by no means am I a combat miner, and I do not do BoDs, so i cannot use it to its potential. A friend of mine whom is a combat Miner has been using it and set it up for elementals. As for the Nodes, 4 of them Shadow/Copper/DC/Iron can be mined from inside on one tile. Then three steps South can you can hit another Iron node. I do not know how to take the screen shots showing the nodes on map but I am willing to show anyone interested in the tower and let them see for themselves. I know you cannot hit it from inside the SST, if you leave the house there is another iron node on the mountain near that location.
I had a house that i thought had a phantom node like that, but if you make effective use of relative location targeting, there is sometimes like 1 pebble of the mountain on that node that you can hit. UOAM + the resource grid overlay helps with that. If you zoom all the way in, you can manually adjust your relative location target to attempt to hit them. Doesn't always work, but there are some nodes on UOAM I thought were impossible to mine, but I was able to get some of them.
I know i tried all the possible spots. The last node on the bottom may be the one, its been a couple weeks since i have been there. Confirmed 5 though - you hit 4 from the right side of the sst and one from the left side.
