@Kiryana Pretty sure that's Barnacle Bill there... and you have no idea why he had that sword especially set aside in that special bag! It could have been for a special reason like to keep it away from the trolls so that it can't hurt any of them! YOU DON'T KNOW

    Hello Citizen of Britannia!

Me and my band of Merry men and women have heard tales of murderers and pillagers roaming your lands and preying on poor innocent residents. One such group we hear of goes by the name of Fallen Lords.

Now if our reputation has preceded us than you all may know of our prior exploits and our mission. We shall not stand ideally by while the innocents of the world are harried by those who have chosen a life of crime and evil.

So, we have taken action and done what we do best. We sent scouts across your land and located this groups hideaway and successfully infiltrated their defenses. Inside we found things that proper persons should not speak of, but we also found many spoils and riches obtained no doubt by disreputable means. We recovered all these goods and have stashed them away for safe keeping.

Now we must complete our sworn oath and return these treasures to those who have been wronged. Over the coming days we will be reaching out to those of you who have been wronged by these murderers and returning that which is rightfully yours. You are also welcomed to scribe me a response on this public board of how they may have wronged you. Any additional treasures will be dispersed to the newest among your society so they may also grow stronger to help in the never-ending war against evil.

Take from the murderers and give to the innocent! Let this be a warning to any others who may decide to stray down a dark path. The Merry men and women are watching.

Below you will find a quick couple of paintings our resident artist has scrawled of the infiltration and a small part of those spoils we recovered for those who may not believe my written word.

Believe the facts, don't believe the words and pictures in the newspapers or you will be next.

Good to be back in other's packs! I have played a thief on and off for years on both production shards and free severs. This is by far the best and most accurate server I've been on.

Some things I have noticed that I'd like to pass on to thieves that are just starting out or are from other severs.

    1. You reveal when attempting to steal. This is different than other servers and makes recall stealing a little tougher, i.e. stealing someone's weapon while mid recall.
    2. If you press stealth and walk a few steps and accidentally hit it again, it will reset your stealth counter. For example, say I walk 3 steps then hit the stealth button before it refreshes then it will reset it back to 1. If this happens, it could present some embarrassing situations in which you reveal yourself!
    3. Buy a horse and dismount a a screen or two away from where you plan to steal so you can get around faster. Your horse won't get guard whacked if you fail. Alternatively, you can set it to stay and make it a quick get away if you plan on staying for a while.
    4. Mages can reveal you with the, you guessed it, reveal spell. If you see them casting it, hold off on stealth and be ready to run for it and hide again. If you're on foot and they are mounted, you're probably done for, if you're gray. You could always try a stun punch once they attack you, if you have anatomy/wrestling.

    Just some tips!

As I was entertaining a few guildmates one night, scouting various locations in our rune library, our ventures landed us in Chaos Valley, when one of them noticed a moongate almost appear out of nowhere. My fellow travelers and well-known murderers, hesitated to go through, as guarded areas would surely lead to immediate death. Being a man of few sins and high curiosity, I decided to investigate.

    upload_2020-11-5_9-23-0.png

Armed with nothing but a lute and spell book, I slowly enter the moongate. Once on the other side, I find myself in a large tower, surrounded by murderers, factioneers and even dragons! Their pile of silver ominously reflecting the glow of the moon, a reminder that I am but a simple bard and slayer of elves. I quickly realize fighting my way out of here is no option.

I grow crippled with fear and angst. I have only heard tails of the notorious Cookie Monster, but never felt his cold presence! I can't help but peak into his backpack to get a glimpse of the legendary pan of cookies, but notice only a fireball wand and death robe. An imposter, perhaps.

Untrained in the skills of stealth, I am forced to maintain my position in the shadows. I pull a communication crystal out of my backpack. “Delstrudo, can you hear me? Where is Leeloo? The Multi-Pass is my only hope!” I pray to my pagan God, searching for an answer. The already wounded murderer of baked goods drifts into sleep, and the factioneer opens his spell book and utters the words “Kal Ort Por.” I decide to do the same.

“He is here!” Delstrudo and Leloo exclaim, now fighting several Minax soldiers in Chaos Valley. “Now is your chance!” I pull out my reagents and rune book, and locate the rune to my home. But I am out of Mandrake Root! I slowly reveal myself and begin to feverishly rummage through surprisingly unlocked chests throughout the towers lower level. I manage to hide myself again. Reagents are no where to be found. Despair once again rushes over me. I suppress the beasts guarding the doors with my lute, only to anger them even more. The wounded murderer slowly grows restless. I hastily fill my pack with anything I can find, including a charged rune book. My prayers have been answered!

The 22:00 hour is quickly approaching, and Minax will be out in the dozens. I feel its best to retire from a long evening of scouting, and collapse on the floor of my patio. As my backpack hits the floor with a loud thud, I quickly realize I must have grabbed more than some reagents and rune books from the brigands’ home.

Thanks for sharing @Salick! That was a fun read - I enjoyed the dramatic flair! Also, I didn't realize until reading this that cookie monster actually has a TAIL!
