Thought Spellbook is newbied? Lost mine after death?

As topic - resurrected and my spellbook is nowhere to be found in the inventory?

Not sure if this is 100% true but is your character RED? I think if you have a "newbied" spellbook with a red character it will drop on your corpse. If you are blue it will stay with you

You will need blessed spellbooks for red chars for them to stay with you

If I am incorrect I apologize and hopefully someone can explain it better

Thanks! That answered my question. And yes, that's on my red character so it makes perfect sense. I am fairly new as a red so never experienced this before.

Got ganked by two blues and a red the other day. Still wondering wtf had happened. lol

Willing to give a red one of my blessed spellbooks in exchange for a full newbie spellbook if one needs it. This shard needs more reds. Been back a week and haven't seen a single red while out hunting.
