hi, after updating the client recently, two things seem to be disabled 1) saving account password 2) music in game is it just me? or someone else experiencing the same issue? cheers
i am on Mac... but in believe this new client could have some sound issue... in some chars the sound effects are a little bit "pixelated".
The UOR Client is doing something with the config file for saving account login information. Instead look in the UOR Launcher options and use the accounts settings there and it will start all of your accounts with the password filled in for you .
i tried reinstalling UO entirely, and the problem still persists. 1) no music 2) the "save account" function doesnt work am i really the only one experiencing this?
The music was affected in a recent update to the Classic UO Client. You can address this by going into options an enabling the beta client. This will install the Beta update for CUO and should resolve the music issues. And I think the ability to save passwords was removed in a recent update to CUO as well, although not sure when that was changed.
through this experience i learned that a good amount of players actually never turn on the music that's interesting because the UO music are necessary to me feels like there's a void that can't be satisfied without them
