    To be fair the database claims there are 7 of the 1359 6 of the 1159,

    Both have been Blessed.

    I'm going to set the SB at 2.5 mil,

    min increment 100k please, no buyout set.

    will be letting this run Through Tuesday @ 12 Midnight PST

    1359 2.5mil - as long as you don't mind gold/ plat split for total

    One of my friends got one of each sandal with 3 accounts. I agree it's surprising but I just want to throw that out there. I don't personally doubt Darkwing's integrity.

    I believe there were a few extremely lucky players last year that were able to get two pairs of sandals with only three accounts, I wouldn't be surprised if it happened again.

    The question is: "Was character game time factored into your item chance?"

    My point exacty.

    I don't put it past Telamon to factor in how people are actually rewarded (especially since character in game time is DEFINITELY monitored here) ... *shrug*.

    (and just to clarify for the dumbos; I think this is more than perfectly legit/justifiable)

    [My statement is based entirely on the fact that I have no idea what a "Senior Counselor" does besides monitor the forums/IRC]

    Given my predisposition for logging everything, I made sure to properly log the rough contents of every bag that is given to a player as every year people report to me that they "did not get a bag" en mass.

    This is one of the reasons we rarely do these type of login rewards. Next year things like this will most likely be linked to participating in some sort of an event.

    To be clear counselors are just normal players, with no powers, all they can do is send text responses to pages, and greet new players. Counselors are held to much higher standards than any other player on the server. Everything they do is logged in explicit detail.

    It's about as boring as you would suspect.

    The chance to get a special item was directly linked to the account age of the player. Most of the items that could appear in the bag followed the same rules. Its the one time a year we reward our veterans for sticking with the server for so long.
