You can also buy plat from players for 6,000 gold per 1 piece of plat. This also work for selling plat pieces; you will get 6,000 gold for 1 piece of plat if you sell it to the community.

When you fight champions, the more damage you do, the more plat you will receive, so do as much damage as you can.

Plat will also come in chests: treasure chests, either from treasure maps or Message In Bottles, that you fish up, as well as the chests found in Ancient Message in Bottle instances.

And yes, a blessed runebook for 250 plat is end game content, it will take a player a long time to get one.
