Come for the Shopping, Stay for the Resist !

Step 1: Show up dead
Step 2: Go to the roof
Step 3: Climb the ladder and jump in the pit.
Step 4: Wait for RezBot to heal ya
Step 5: Eat Fish Steaks regularly, toss yourself a heal every minute or so (macro works great)
Stop 6: Wait for GM resist.

DO - Have fun and soak up the resist gains
DONT - scavenge all the fish steaks or HOG the bandages.
Do - Gain other NON-Combat Skills
DONT - Wrestle or go into combat in the Pit (this will get you banned)

Hi Landarr,i would like to attend. Possibly with up to 3 characters so i want to ask if thats alright? If theres a lack of casters i can bring one or two characters and a mage(who doesnt need resist anyway) to help with the meteor swarming.

Any particular reagents you need? i might have some lying around i could donate. Wont be in the 15k ish ammounts but enough to provide a little bit of of extra uptime!

You can bring as many toons as you like and rotate them in and out as you need to.

I have 2 casters for sure right now, but there are the usual suspects who have supported these events in the past so I am not overly concerned this far out.

If there is a need I will definitely reach out!

Meteor Swarm Reagents are all that is needed. Bandages are always welcome. I will set up a donation station at the tower where folks can add to the locked down stacks. Or if you or anyone else prefers, we can meet when our schedules permit.

Im afraid i cant possibly match some of the above donations but bandages(few thousand) and like a thousand or so of each meteor reg for sure. If nothing else as a tiny payment/tribute/gift and thank you for allowing to attend. I will drop by your establishment and place them in the pile. Edited the post after checking my spare stash, and will donate 4k bandages and 1000 of each meteor reagent.

The characters i need resist on all have GM magery(or they will within the next 16-28 hours) so if something goes awry, your usual suspects cant make it to help with the meteor swarming fo rexample, i could theoretically bring 3 mages and put them on meteor duty instead. Can always gain resist on them at another event later. Communtiy events(especially ones that are hosted for free) are not the time to be thinking of oneself only!

I appreciate your willingness to donate and pay it forward, but please do not feel like it is at all necessary. I personally attended 4 sessions and GM'd resist on 12toons before I ever donated or hosted one of these. I swore back then that one day when I was able I would pay it forward... those days are now for me.

Start Time: No later than 8pm EST

It is fully unattended, Set up a macro to eat a fishsteak every 30 seconds and apply a bandage if you drop below 75% health

There will be stacks of bandages locked down for attendee's use.

THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO WORK HEALING ! - 150+ in the pit for a couple days will burn thru 250k bandages in no time

There will be a dedicated healer in the PIT, but you are responsible for your own health

There will be a bot dropping fish steaks on the blue table.

DO NOT USE A SCAVENGER AGENT ! TURN THAT OFF! - You will hoover up all the fish steaks and others will go hungry

With good eating and the occasional bandage, you will not take enough damage to die. If you do, go to the rez bot and they will rez you.

I know i cant match the level of donations others have given. But ive had so much help from mainly people in my guild,Project Sanctuary and players from other guilds who hang out in our IRC chat that though ive only actively played for about a month ive had so much paid forward to me wether in help,or taking me hunting things i could never hunt alone and then threatning to trash the loot in a trash barrel if i dont accept it for free...help setting up houses and much more.

So even if i cant pay it forward as big as others here. I do have some stuff that i can pay forward without it having any negative effect on myself or slowing me down in any way. Im thinking bandages and reagents. Im thinking maybe 2-3k Regs (spread out over the meteor swarm reg requirements) and another 4-5k bandages. Not much but i think its enough to make a difference especially when added up with everyone else graciously donating, wether huge ammounts or more down toward my range.

For the Resisters: You can park your toon any time today. Follow the instructions in the original post for entry. The faction rezbot(s) can rez you without you being in factions. To leave the resist tower, just log out and log back in, it will boot you to the outside.

Casting will start no later than 8pm est. Earlier if I get home earlier and there are enough people in the pit.

If TB, COM, Minax members would like to provide a rezbot, PM me & I will get your guy in this evening.
