Sorry about this, ladies and gentlemen, but Sil has been nagging me. He wants to show you his workshop. He loves working at carpentry downstairs and is busy repairing chairs at the moment. He'd like to point out that all the chests of drawers at the back are full of different tinkering tools, which come in really useful for (the very unappreciative) Azoth when he decorates his house *sigh, I know, I know*. His pride and joy, however, is the small bowyer's studio upstairs, where he likes to spend his time whittling away at his bows and fletching his arrows while watching the occasional passer-by. There, Sil, I've told everyone about your Medium House Log Cabin. We do all appreciate you (now please stop nagging). Thank you for your patience, ladies and gentlemen. It's a very nice workshop. Personally, I like the log cabins; especially ones situated in a forested area. I don't blame him for wanting to show it off. Thanks Azoth, I love the gold spinning wheel as well. Have had nice comments about it from several visitors. Wow, what a great contest this shall be.
Saw this log very often and always think it's one of the best log deco I have seen. And I love the Night Angel Trilogy.
Hey, someone recognises Azoth I actually knew the word before those great books. I'm a historian of alchemy, where Azoth means the primal matter from which you make the Philosophers' Stone. As a name it's made of the first and last letters of Latin (A-Z), Hebrew (Aleph-Tau), and Greek (Alpha-Omega), so the letters mean the change from primal to ultimate (hello UOR) matter ... my Azoth still has a looooong way to go
Unique design element: Animated waterfall. Each tile has its own macro to move and replace the gems and necklaces and such, and one of my characters is hidden on each.
Small house: Dalavalley Tower. The first floor is the living space. It's Christmas time! Upstairs is the attic. Wife keeps bugging me to clean it. Kal Vas Dustbuster, amiright?! Britannia is a dangerous place, and since alarm systems haven't been invented yet, I keep my own conscripted army to ensure safety. We also get farm fresh hiryu eggs from the nest, and have picnics outside.
Hoping we still have today to get pics up, trying to finish some last minute things...... On my laptop.... In my car.... Tethering off my phone....
Hah, it was a joke about the Big Plus Sign from Cynic's slayer post the other day For the tower, my true hope is that ReZon and I get into leetpvp on UOR, develop a feud with each other, and decide to put our small towers up in a winner-take-all duel between his best fisherman and my tamer. Other than that, there's no chance of me risking it!
Welp, unfortunately it's a 4 hour drive both ways for me today and a hectic day working so i decided to just post up what i have been able to complete.. I had alot of other deco projects for friends i was working on and this isn't even half of what was to be done on each room, couldn't even break out the hair dyes/rares room. But it was fun!... That arena is brilliant, great use of elevated platforms around it for spectators (not taking away any of the field space), and the green lighting is pretty great.
