What can you do with these shovels? Just dig up iron elementals? Or iron golems? And then you just get iron ore? Trying to understand what makes these valuable as I looted about 100 a few nights ago

With these you dig up iron golems with each dig and gives you a good amount of ore when you kill the golem

But like, a lot more than just mining..?

I tend to do elementals with pickaxes cause I have a stone addiction so never really done too many golems so not sure on the number there but elementals die with 25 ore on a metal one which tends to be the big ores which when smelted successfully gives 50 ingots. The stone gives you 2 ores so possibly 4 ingots best case.

you need no mining to use these... the last swing of the shovel always produces a Golem Lord which has a chance at dropping a statue.
