Last night an incident (that's taken place multiple times in recent months ultimately costing me mils) took place that set me off to the point where I had to question why was I spending the few hours (if that) a day to put energy into a game that was bringing me more frustration than it was enjoyment. Paired with the recent irish exits of some of our vets in the past year, the bullshit that took place with Darkwing, I said to myself, f*ck it, UOR isn't the same as it was 3 years ago when I started here, threw my stuff up to query offers to see how much gold I could trashcan or dump into the eco for events and be done or start over under a completely new ident and play style. That was 6 hours ago, and I woke up this morning to 30+ PM's from new players to vets and quite honestly, I'm just kind of at a loss for words. The amount of kind comments, offers, angry friends really just kind of set me back. I now feel like an asshole for even threatening to quit. I'm not sure what I want to do at this moment to be honest, but as my post previously stated, I wasn't hosting an auction, I hadn't made a decision. Some of your bids were interesting, some of you can stop soaking up bandwidth, I'm going to take a couple days and just evaluate what I feel the best option would be for the server, myself, and the player base will be, and honestly see if I even miss playing, Sorry to @ReZon for the lack of restock and my customers during this time. If and when I do decide to move onto something else, I will be considerate and post individual auctions following proper guidelines, pictures, and detailed explanations. For those of you that Pm'd me, I wasn't going to copy and past the same message to all of you, It was nice to read all the kind words, I honestly didn't expect any of it at least not from so many of you, ya'll are pretty dope.
