Big had been working hard to earn back Rackhams trust over the last few months. This meant no more drinking and obeying every order, no matter how silly, like the one when Rackham had told him to go catch him a common bream in one of the ponds of the island. But Big had done as he was asked without any questions asked and always with a smile on his lips. Finally it had paid off, Rackham had given him a chance to prove himself on the water again, he told him to take the large ship to Serpents hold for some equipment and while at it also take the ship on a fishing tour. When Big entered the port of Serpents hold he met a strange landlubber at the docks that said he had travelled far and wide and just had come back from his journey with a rare and valuable horse, four legger as the pirates called them. He offered Big to buy it for 50.000 doubloons. Big had spontaneously accepted the price, math wasn't his best subject, but as the man, clearly a hornswaggler, talked on and bragged about his grandness Big started to change his mind and started to realise he didn't have that kind of doubloons on him. He still went through with the purchase though but managed to trick the man and only paid him 5000 doubloons, a common pirate trick often used when dealing with cocky hornswaggling landlubbers. The man had given him the horse, by the name of Ki-rin and left for the local brothel. Big hurriedly undocked the his ship and sailed for home. Rackham was very pleased with his new pet, maybe he would get tired of it some day and then throw a big barbecue feast for the pirates, he knew they liked sweet meat, but until then he intended to enjoy his new companion.
