A glimpse through ye old looking glass? Perhaps I should a make a few notes while sitting high atop the tower of Jupiter? As I use this here telescope, perhaps you should break out a magnifying glass to better interpret my penmanship. If only you had the book in your grasp could you embrace the true wonder of the pages themselves. As the night of terrors dies down... perhaps we can examine some of the correlations between the cosmos and the realm.. It is said that when the planet and it's twin moons align in this fashion, a black gate opens and it becomes possible to summon those from the realm of the avatar. Now, if we angle this telescope just right.. we might catch a glimpse, lets seek out those other eight planets and their corresponding constellations shall we? Ahh, a kind heart and an open hand. A full.. though yet.. modest cup. The weight of a tear? Yes, and.. finally.. the essence itself. Such majesty indeed! What a spectacle!
Hmmm! Let me adjust this here to get a nice view of Felucca, now that some of the clouds have passed. Indeed, the lunar cycle.. but where shall we begin.. The connection to the moongates is truly astounding. Even the tides hold their ebb and flow with these cosmic giants, Trammel and Felucca. Fascinating! Trammel does remain in a distant orbit, perhaps more.. the shape of.. an egg? hah! which came first, the chicken or the Trammel?! oh I am getting off course here.. where was I... Egads! Alas.. but one more page in the book.. but what could the words be? Perhaps a memorial for he who fell while keeping the lantern of Skara Brae lit? He who warded off the ghosts of our past, yet paid the ultimate price... Perhaps the books final page should just read as follows.. .. and let the words be for whom they were meant.
@Alex Caember, methink this astronomer's books deserve their own section in the library! incredible! I feel like a ursa minor when my creativity stands in comparison to the genius tales like this. this glimpse into the cosmos shall make grown men weep if they comprehend but even the slightest bit of its miraculous infinity. Bravo
You're all far too kind. I'm honestly not sure if you can call it art, though stay tuned to the salty dog for future works on the go.. Now, only if i had a quiet place to scribble?
Hey man, if we can call Andy Warhol's work art, then I don't see why we can't call yours art... MmMmMmMMmMMmmMMM Campbell's soup.....
Sadly I went to see his full exhibit at the museum, well.. really I was just in Anchorage for the first time and it happened to be there.. fortunately the rest of the building made up for it.
