ANOTHER DiG 36 hours of Resist Event ! August 10th

DiG is proud to sponsor/host the next resist event titled -ANOTHER DiG 36 hours of Resist Event-

Time is Gold and Gold is Time ! This event aims to save BOTH & get our members and guests back out into the world EARNING !

The plan is to start EARLY on the 10th and run for 36 hours or supplies run out, whichever comes first with as many casters as I can find/trust

You will be able to show up hours before and take your places. But the casting will start promptly at 7am est. Be there on time to get the most out of this short run

120k Bandages are provided to train Healing. Once they are gone, they are gone

You will gain & you will not die.

Special donation of 5k each cast is to be used for a Caster Gaining station. If you have a caster that is 90+ in Magery skill and want to gain Magery contact me and I will get you set up at this station. You must come in dead.

1. Donations appreciated, but not required. Pay it forward !
2. Must come in Dead - Go to the Green Flashing square to be Rezed - eat a couple fish steaks and move into The Pit
3. Sit in a chair anywhere in The Pit to build your immunity. The only spot you will not be struck is the Rez Stattion. Move out once rez'd.
4. No wrestling/training fighting skills - this will get you banned. I have zero time to figure out if it is harmless, intentional, accidental... whatever.

There will be some intense casting so here are a few tips

DO NOT PUT FISHSTEAKS IN YOUR PACK - you don't need to in order to eat them
Eat ! It helps your passive HP regeneration. There will be over 100k Fish steaks. Eat till Full at the start, then record a macro of you eating them, put a 180000 ms (3min) pause, then check the loop button. This amount of Fishsteaks will sustain 100 resisters for 50 hours. MORE than enough.

Even though there has been a generous donation, Bandages are NOT unlimited. I have 120k bandages out for use.

Stand in the center, All resisters will be in range from that spot
Using the macro in the screen shot you will use a bandage on yourself and a random target each time through the loop. Right click the first line and choose "Re-Target". Target the stack of bandages.

It pauses for 30 seconds between healing attempts.

Please do not speed spam bandages, you are wasting them. If you need to gain healing buy it up, and you will still gain nicely here. (Above 80 healing the most efficient way to gain is on a Ghost, don't try to GM healing by healing the living - will park a ghost and some bandages here the following week if you want to train further)

With enough people running this same macro, bandages will last and folks will not be over healed.

There is no difference in gains between 1% health and 100% health

If you are standing on the red flashing dots, you have the chance to gain. The animation may not show you or others getting hit. THIS IS NORMAL. All casters are targeting the same spot. What you are seeing is folks resisting.

Side Note

This is not an open door event. You can come and go as you please, but you run the risk of getting locked out. If you get locked out, you are SOL till the event comes out of LockDown

What is LockDown?
I have to work and sleep and there may be times when I need to be afk for hours. If the event gets blown up during that time, it most likely will not be able to be restarted till I return... could be HOURS... That is why I put ballot boxes on the steps to lock down the event... cuts down on shenanigans.

I will so be there for this! And I have about 10k bandages I'll try to bring with me as well.

I'm a bit of a newbie at this so please excuse any ridiculous questions. Can someone please let me know:

- Exactly where this will be?
- What is the earliest I can show up?
- Once I am in place can I be AFK when the event starts? Or is the intent to be present while gaining?
- Will this work for new characters that don't have any decent stats built up other than maybe a day of herding?

quick noob question tho... What if you don't have healing? Was gonna bring Eskeleto my tamer just just needs last 20 pts to be 7x

Ive never healed myself during a resist event. As long as the event doesn't have people wrestling you, you shouldnt die. Perhaps if there was a ton of casters you could he killed, but you should remain at around 7 to 9 hp and not go below that and die.

I think you stop getting hit by the MS when you drop below 10hp. If you watch how the MS lands during the event you should see this. Might be better to heal to increase your gains.

fyi you can achive GM healing by just healing, so no need to park the ghost.

You can, but takes longer and despite generous cloth donations, I limit each event to 120k bandages
