The very helpful 'Renaissance Guide to Slayers' by @Ezekiel states that balrons are susceptible to 'daemon dismissal' weapons/instruments but there is a separate category for balrons - 'balron damnation' - which suggests this could be a mistake? Why would balrons have their own slayer group if daemon dismissal applied to them? Very interested to know as I've been hunting balrons with my peace/provo dexxer and would obviously like to minimise the amount of failed barding attempts!
daemon dismissal i think is the "super slayer" that covers all monsters in that daemon category. Balron damnation I think is specifically for Balrons... not sure if it gives a bigger or smaller bonus than the daemon dismissal or not.
Exorcism is the super Slayer. Daemon dismissal does work on balrons making it more useful than balron only one.
