ok so I have been searching for a thread in this that helps me and haven't found. I have a miner current template is Mining Swords LJ healing Anatomy Magery Heard that battle mining is a good way to make money and have fun. So here is my question What in the hell is battle mining??? And what would be a good skill to add to my template for that? Also willing to drop Magery if needed. But from what I understand it's good to have. Thanks!

So a gargoyle pickax can be used to mine and I might get a golem in which I can kill that has valuables on it? That the basics of it? How about smelting that ore? What's the skill level and chance on that? And how tough are these golems to kill say in relation to earth elementals?
You can kill them with a different character... or just dig>run, dig>run, dig>run and fill the world with elementals!
Lol ok great. So last question then I'll get out there and try it out. Which is he bigger money maker. Using a gargoyles pickax to get elementals. Or using the shovel to get golems? Ok now last question. Elementals or golems harder to kill?
Elementals are a little harder and provide more money in my opinion. If someone else has done the hard math feel free to correct me.
There is a higher return on doing the gargoyle pickaxes. However you can pump out more GPH with shovels since they tend to be easier to triple box. The issue with the shovels is they are used up way quicker so you will need to have a supplier that can keep up.. which is very difficult. You can easily and cheaply get a bag of gargoyle pickaxes on the other hand that will last you for a year.
Why is it called Triple Boxing? Presumably that's someone with a char from each of 2 accounts using snazzy shovels or pickaxes?
3 clients = triple boxing. Think of each install of the game as if it were the box it originally came in. No you wouldn't want all 3 accounts mining, just your main account. The other 2 accounts would be placed in a looping macro that attacks golems and heals your main miner.
