This time it felt different. Baerron Jael crushed the salamander skull in the palm of his hand and scattered the pieces about his feet. The death fed into the ground at the Battle of Compassion Shrine (see here: Battle of Compassion Shrine) which gave a potent strength to the daemon's hand. Veins in his head bulged and filled with black ichor, blood dripped from his nostrils and ears. As time goes by the allies of his master grow stronger and the forces of the lightbringers wane. The absence of the Grey Wizard of Paws was not lost on Baerron Jael. The absence of all members of Paws was not lost either. But now it is Antos of Yew who threatens his plans, no doubt with the aid of the Great Council and allies. They all remained two steps behind, though, and their reclamation attempts were of minor concern as long as the Seals were broken and his master free. Baerron Jael spat a decaying tooth onto the grass and began. The voice of the master crashed through his body like a warhorse's gallop. With each Seal broken, his master's strength becomes more apparent in the world. With half of the Seals broken, it is only a matter of time before he is free and the people of these lands succumb. Even that foolish entity in the hooded green and gold robes wouldn't be able to stop him.
