Catalin perused the message board at the Trinsic bank, known by some as Ghetto Grotts, and found what looked like a promising detail. “HELP WANTED: WARNING – EXTREMELY DANGEROUS – ACCEPT THIS DETAIL AT YOUR OWN PERIL. An extremely vicious brigand needs to be transported from Trinsic to Yew immediately! If interested please pick up the villain at the jail. Please be warned the vile fiend has slain the last ten wardens. You will probably find the jail empty except the prisoner” “Hmmm,” Catalin considered the peril out loud, “one brigand couldn’t possibly be more dangerous than the Shadow Wyrm we recently defeated on the road to Paws. But just to be safe.. I should probably call in some help.” Upon arriving at the jail, Catalin found the warning of the message quite true. There was absolutely no sign of guards anywhere. Catalin checked the receiving logs and found no signs that the prison had been picked, nor any indication that the guards had been changed. He turned to Sherelle and admitted, “The hairs on my nape are standing on end. Something does not…” “Bode well, folks?” the room turned to face, the crustiest, most brutal face they’d ever seen, “I’m Bruce. And suspect you’re my escorts?” Catalin could see the man meant to do pay them the same respects he’d given the missing guards. But before Bruce could close the distance of the room there was a flash of movement and Bruce crumbled to the ground. “I think you’ve got your hands full this time Catalin. This is no ordinary brigand. This is Bruce the Brutal, and I believe you’re going to need my help if you stand any chance of delivering this villain to Justice.” “Lambdas!,” Catalin beamed, “You’re timing could not have been better. Indeed, if we are to succeed it seems we shall have to keep this brigand subdued at all times! --------------------------------------------------------------- And so they traveled along the king’s road; several times Bruce the Brutal tried to escape. It seems he had even arranged for his fellow Von Krossenheim to try and intercept them and help him escape justice. But the prisoner was safely escorted and left to rot in the dungeon of Yew.
Another successful escort detail of the brigand! This time it takes a Muslim (Prayingmantits claims he is a truly a Muslim) and a thief (Prolife) Along the road the thief attracts the attention of a troll and an ogre in hopes to escape in the commotion! Despite what you may think of Prolife, he is at least more clever than a brigand! He seals the entrance to the brigand fort so that Bruce the Brutal cannot hide amongst his ne're do well friends!
