Whip out your best trained chickens and fight them in a complex battle to the death! Lord chum hath decree that the land of Sosaria is run a-fowl with stray chickens! It's up to YOU to help eliminate these fiends in order to prevent chicken-overpopulation! The Information: -Everyone can tame a chicken -You can alternatively purchase one! The Rules: -These must be actual chickens, no chigons please -1 chicken may be entered per (real) person -There is an entry fee of 2500gp -Chickens may not be buffed in any way (except for regular training) before/during each match -Chickens may be well stocked, however the use of non-red potions is discouraged -There is no combat or stealing allowed inside the event arena (location will be given prior to the event) -The battles will proceed in a ladder-system, (with multiple fights going on at once if attendance is high) -There will be prizes for first and second place only -First place will have the opportunity to bet their winnings on one final found with the house-chicken and reigning champion, ROBOCLUCKER! -Losing this wagered final match, results in forfeit of winnings. The Prizes: First Place: 70% of the take (the total of all entry fees) Second Place: 30% of the take Should first place decide to challenge ROBOCLUCKER, the first place prize will increase an additional 50k paid for by cA. I was just thinking... If my cluck, out-clucks another's cluck, can I dry loot the losing chicken's corpse?
How does this work exactly? I've tamed two chickens and then had them fight each other and they have been fighting for two days now and neither has done a single point of damage to the other one. How will they be able to kill another chicken in the event?
You know, that's a good point. According to the compendium, they do 0-1 base damage. Even at 100 Tactics and Anatomy, that would get multiplied by like 1.7 or so, which may well get rounded down to 1. And their Armor of 2 makes it so they probably typically absorb the first 1 damage of any melee hit. A dog might be a better choice. Base damage 4-7, AR 12.
