Hi Chris, Just another quick suggestion... I thought might make all of our lives a little easier. You know how when you use a keg, the potions will now go in the container that the bottles are in? ... I believe when you claim a filled commodity deed in your bankbox, the contents of the deed should go in whatever container the deed was in, rather then the 'root' of the bank. Thanks!
How so, LanDarr? I mean I guess one less thing to drag to a pouch/container that you can gate home but you're still working with a single stack per deed. However, you can always just gate that stack home. That just doesn't seem like "MUCH" difference to me. Although I do agree it would be nice if they worked this way, I don't think it's any major inconvenience how it works now.
Its all about safety and no risk. Much less risky to sit inside my locked NON CY house and double click the deed than to pop a gate and drag. Besides not ALL my toons can gate, nor have CY houses. Point is moot to me with a house that I can bank from within
I think you might have taken this the wrong way. He's talking about the items just ending up in the exact container the deed was in, within your bank, when you double click it. Telamon has specifically stated that the inability to redeem commodity deeds from home is a risk he prefers remain intact.
The risk that someone might snag something you are dragging with your mouse, has always been a risk in UO. Miners hated ore thieves. Although the idea of commodity deeds emptying contents within confines of your house is pleasant, I don't think it is very "UO" feel. Part of UO has been the "risk" factor, not just risk by pkers, although that seems to be the most popular and socially acceptable form here. Remember the good old bank thieves. With home security here, we don't need to overly concern ourselves with house looters. I am for leaving commodity deeds the way they are. Westra/Marjo Governess of Wispfelt
