Cooking ingredients

    Tried to look at the item database first, but other than meats, can one find the other resources in the wild?

    - You can find fruits & vegetables at farms (Britain, Yew, Skara etc.)
    - You can get some wheat from fields, with a flour mill, 2 of them will make a sack of flour.
    - You can find wheels of cheese from NPC camp chests.
    - If you have a pitcher, you can get milk from cows at farm.
    - You can fill water from water troughs in stables.

    Thank you, found some fruit trees, gourds, melons, but can't pick them. Is there a trick to apples, pumpkins, melons etc?

    Its awesome that your trying to find things in the wild to cook, 10/10 on playing the game how it was intended :)

    Not everything can be found in the fields and tress, many cannot be picked as you said. Checkout farmers and butchers in towns to see what they sell. Also, look around the cooking menu when double clicking a rolling pin or frying pan. Loads of things to cook if your interested in that part of the game.

    Very interested in the cooking. I know it doesn't really have a benefit, but it's one of the skills I didn't ever explore. I actually found a small house spot in your neck of the woods by Skara, so I will be able to self sustain my baking.
