Cove Casino, NEW home of Rat Roulette!

Rat Roulette Lives! My casino is back in it's new location, nestled behind Dalavar's Rune library outside of the bustling city of Cove. A new variety of games will be played, such as a dice table where 6 players will place a standard 5k bet with the dealer, and roll the dice for a 1 in 6 chance of winning 25k from the pot (30k -5k for the house). Additionally, dart games will be introduced as well. For easy use and safety, please bring 5k bank checks for making bets.

Want to get your gambling fix in off hours? Stop by the casino and try your luck with my "Slot machine vendor"... 3 chests are locked down, the keys that open them are on the vendor somewhere at 999 each. Pick the right key that opens one of the box, win a prize! Prizes at this time are 5 holiday coins, a check for 5k, and a check for 30k. Prizes may be updated and things added to the boxes. Keyrings will be provided to make dealing with the keys easier, and a bag to discard keys that weren't winners.

Rat Roulette, the crown jewel of the casino has been revamped and made more interesting. The basic rules of the game are the same but payout system is tweaked to be more efficient: The "dealer" will place a rat in the center tile and close off the enclosure, while bets are collected in the form of 5k checks minimum. Books will be provided where you will write your character name and the color of tile that you are betting on inside, and you will give that book to the dealer along with your 5k check. All bets will go into the pot, minus 1 share per round for the house. Once all bets are taken, the rat will be released by the dealer and a 15 second timer will count down via macro. At the end of the macro countdown, the dealer will cast explosion, target the rat, and wait for it to explode. The color of tile that the rat lands on the winning color (if it dies on the center tile, no winners). If there is a winner, they will be given the pot of bets minus 1 bet for the house. If there are no winners of the round, the remaining pot is added to the next round. The more rounds it takes for a winner, the pot will grow, making the game more enticing for new betters. If there is more than one winner (winning tile had 2 or more bets on it), the pot will be divided between the winners, but rounded up to the nearest 5k (Example: 6 players bet 5k each, one bet goes to the house = 25k in the pot. 2 players both bet on the winning color. Each winner would each receive 15k instead of 12.5k).

EvilDead almost won, and I thought he had but when the explosion went off, the rat was in the process of moving to the right and landed on the adjacent tile! it was pretty quick!

Next round is at 7:30 EST, one hour!

I'll run some dice games tomorrow night. I have to work overtime during the day but I'll do my best to clear my schedule for tomorrow night.
