It was during The Second Age, before Renaissance. I can only remember it vaguely as I was a child when it happened, but what I remember was the town of Trinsic was overrun with all kinds of undead, there were no guards so it was a PvP funhouse, and the last thing I remember seeing was this named, green-skinned lich walking down Trinsic's main street, vaporizing everyone within seconds of spotting him. The streets were LITTERED with the corpses of hundreds of players, red and blue alike. I'm trying to find some kind of archive footage or stories from this event.
They did a couple of things like this back in the golden age of OSI. There was the Invasion of Trinsic, the sacking of Yew by humanoids (ratmen, ogres, trolls, ettins, and buffed up versions of each), The corruption of Vesper was similar to trinsic with undead invading from the local graveyard. This was before it became all neon hair and sunglasses and crap.
Yes, & the Town Crier's would also shout this news out! Or give you the news when you typed "news" near them.
I remember this yes. I thought I was doing really well (was just a dexer with a sword of some type) and I remember the lich just destroying me. Was pretty awesome.
Yes!!! I participated on Chesapeake. The armies summoned by Juo'nar! Running the walls was key https://www.uoguide.com/Juo'nar (still looking for more history) https://uo.stratics.com/secrets/tc/tc_094.shtml https://uo.stratics.com/secrets/bio/b_juonar.shtml
