If you gained points from atrophy or being honored by someone, you will not gain points from killing an enemy unless you "catch up" to the awarded points, but you still lose points from being killed. For example if someone honors you and you have 0 points, you go to 5. Then if you kill someone worth 1 point you stay at 5.
Being honored faction points (I honor your leadership) consumes 5 points from the player honoring, and transfers 4 points to the recipient. 1 point is lost in the transaction, and this is intentional.
Right I was wrong on the number, but what I'm saying is after the honor, you need to kill that many people, 4, before your points will move upward
I'm not able to reproduce this. Using 2 faction characters, transferring points from Player 1 (loss of 5 points) to player 2 (gain of 4 points, from 0) brings me to a point value of 4. Making an honorable faction kill (any faction player who is worthy of points/honor) then yields me an additional point, which brings player 2 up to a point value of 5.
After thinking about it I was just going from the website stat of killed by, then I remembered the points go by damage done? I think, the most damage done may not be the actual killer, so if killed on site stat doesn't mean faction point transfer. My fault thanks for checking though.
