My availability is currently questionable. There may be a guest host and there is a small chance of rescheduling for the following Friday. I should be able to update the status early on Friday evening. I'm good to go. After the fights there will be a naked race to the star room. Mounts and resources of any kind are not allowed. If you die, you are out... unless everyone else dies too. Contestants must accept a party invite so they can be tracked. Fight Night sign up will close and the event will start at 8pm pacific / 11pm eastern. All you need to do to sign up is show up and report to the referee (Iapetus). If there are no event gates, I will provide gates via a bot (Ethan) at Occlo Bank. If you're red you should be able to figure out how to get their on your own. The tournament may be either single or double elimination depending on turnout. (Usually double elimination if there are 9 or fewer contestants and single elimination if 10 or more.) Fight Night 1v1 Rules: Contestants are expected to bow (emote is fine) before each fight. Contestants will start on the carpet squares. The match will begin when the wall of stone drops. Equipment: GM armor only (all leather and ingot types), all magic weapons and nonexceptional runics, exceptional runic weapons up to Gold, all potions and anything else not expressly prohibited here or elsewhere. NO heal wands NO controls (summons, tames, mounts) NO field spells NO stealing NO dropping blocking items NO hiding/invis ANYTHING ELSE goes By participating you agree to follow all referee instructions and to exhibit good sportsmanship. The time limit for all matches except the finals will be 8 minutes. The time limit for the finals will be 12 minutes. The match will pause once the limit has been reached players will be reset for sudden death. In the tradition of Stormhold's Friday Night Fights, during sudden death the audience will be permitted to cast fire fields and/or poison fields into the arena. Last Man Standing: After the tournament there will be a last man standing. Participants will enter the arena and, once the even starts, contestants (and only contestants) are free to do whatever they like except get on an ethereal mount or bring anything or anyone into or out of the arena. The last person alive inside the arena wins. When there are 2 contestants remaining there will be a 120 second countdown until the audience is free to cast poison and fire fields (at your own risk: unlike 1v1 sudden death, the contestants may be blue to you). In case it isn't already obvious, don't bring anything you aren't prepared to lose. Short version: no controls except summons, nothing and no one in or out.
