This is a tale of the most indispensable reagent: garlic. The telling of this tale, will require me to take you all over the land – from broken bank tops of Moonglow, to the hovels of Paws, twice to the city of Stormhold, and all the while casting a spell of disguise to keep up a ruse that was necessary to help a beloved madman. (*disclaimer no Free Maidens of Paws were intentionally hurt in the making of this story) ================================================================================== While atop the familiar cobble paved roof of the only bank in Moonglow, Jupiter, Sherelle and Athena had just finished patching the hole that has been the cause of so many soggy deposit slips and ‘washed’ checks… After repairing the whole, the three pondered a bit about the current state of Lord Godric’s ever curious behavior. Locking himself in his home? Well, they all agreed that wasn’t quite that out of place; but he didn’t even clean of the horse dung! As they sat there contemplating what could be done, a wisp of good fortune arrived in the form of a man looking for an escort. “Hello! I’m looking for someone to escort me to Destard!” “Whatever could you want in Destard?”, Jupiter inquired. “Well, if you must know good Wizard, back when I was a lad my father – who was a rather odd sort – took me to that cave. All ‘me life I thought my father a loony for taking his son to sail his toy boat. That is, until recently. I learnt’ me father was tryin’ to hide the boat fer it’s magical properties! If you escort me there master wizard, I’m sure it’ll help you.” Cautiously Jupiter probed for more information, “But if you’re not going to reclaim the toy boat from your youth, why bother telling us any of this? Why go there at all?” Looking down at his bare feet, and then back up the adventurer replied, “I reckon it’s about time I got me father’s shoes back. I aim to hunt the dragon that gobbled my dad and left me fatherless!” And so, just as quickly as an east wind can change a calm day into a maelstrom, so too did their day quickly change from altruistic roof repairs to “The wizard agreed to what?!?!” =================================================================================== Now, while the Free Maidens of Paws know how to handle themselves around dragons and danger, Jupiter will never say no to extra help. So when Huzke Truthseeker and Cabrito the Literate were quickly swept along the ride when they crossed paths and made their way to the den of Dragons! Once inside, the adventurer quite conveniently lost his gallantry “Uh.. umm.. here is thy gold and some compassion Grey Wizard… I’ll just be uhh rrrmm … well I’ll see ya!!!” And so, without a guide, the group sought out the lake in the eastern cavern to find the magical toy boat! As they raced…… “Hey why is it dark all of a sudden?” [*] “Hello? Where did everyone go..” *In Lor* oh sorry about that. Well I’m not exactly sure what happened there, but as you can see our brave band was able to easily recover the boat and so they continued their journey. They soaked the small boat in various bodies of water around the world, yet none seemed to bear any fruitful results, Finally they laid the boat within waters of Serpent’s Hold and it quickly transformed into a majestic ship! But no matter how they tried to compel the tillerman, he would not hoist the anchor. “The only thing’as can unfurl the sails o’ this ship is passion!” With the warriors at hand, Jupiter’s band had decent an array of talents and sentiments, but none of them seemed to be filled with enough passion to fill the sails of PortLove “Athena,” Jupiter started, “I think you’re going to need some more Garlic. We’re going to kidnap a Greycliff!” With a brief departure to Stormhold, Roscoe and Godric Greycliff were quickly added to the allstar roster, and then they set forth on PortLove. The sails of the ship seemed propelled as by gusts blown right out of lungs of Aphrodite herself! Quickly they landed upon the shores of a remote island. As the last Free Maiden stepped off the boat, it vanished into thin air, leaving the group to search out further clues on the island. After a short while, they stumbled upon a strange altar that seemed to glow of valor. But Jupiter had no intentions of summoning a champion, oh no, instead he laid a tale of jilted love upon the gruesome skull, and quickly a candle appeared! With yet another clue… *** the rest of the pages of this tale have been sequestered and/or I got tired of writing this tale ***

Surely, Councilman Greycliff must be in possession of these pages. Unfortunately his recent disappearance prevents us from gaining the full story. Militia members have been dispatched to Paws in hopes of gaining more information as to the whereabouts of their missing councilman.
Well drat. A quest that involved a ship and the Fishin' Magician was not there to aid you! I apologize for my absence dear wizard.
Gareth Greycliff, kinsman to the missing councilman and member of the Stormhold Militia, was sent to Paws to interview Faith, believed to be a witness to Lord Godric's last known interactions. Meanwhile, in the southern settlement. . .
