Grey Screen on Client Start-up - wont boot client.

    Hey Guys,

    Looking for a bit of help.. I've been running renaissance with 3 boxes for quite some time, never had a problem.. this last week i noticed clients were crashing a little more then normal.

    Today one of my clients crashed so I "end task" and closed out of it, when i tried to open the client again I was just getting a grey screen and would not fully boot up. My other two clients were running fine, I tried again nothing.

    I went ahead and restarted my computer - On the restart same problem, but now I cant get any client to open. I just get a grey screen with a UO cursor.

    Here is everything i've tried:

    1. Compatibility Mode
    XP/ SP3
    run as admin.

    2. fully rebooting computer, router and modem.

    3. uninstalling uo / re installing.

    4. uninstalling and reinstalling to different folder

    5. Turn complete network/ system off for 30 minutes - try again.

    6. clearing my computer cache running: %windir%\system32\rundll32.exe advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks

    7. I've also tried running the client.exe file with out razor same problem.

    okay - so i also tried to reinstall .net frameware ..

    at the same time i deleted my old razor folder - which i had never done.. deleted UO again cleaned everything off my system.. fresh install and its working..

    I am having a hard time forcing my screen size at the moment but will figure that out.
