You awake to your worst nightmare, Britain has been taken over by the undead. Alone with your fellow adventurers you are tasked with leaving the safety of the Inn and escaping the town.

Who knows what horrors await outside the safety of the Inn?


Scavenge for supplies, search for other survivors, find hidden caches of supplies and discover secret areas on your way to escaping the nightmare.

How it Works

• A detailed event schedule will be posted, this event will run 14-18 times depending on staff availability.
• You will have 15 minutes to sign up for the event.
• Once signed up, all of your possessions will be moved to the bank. You cannot join the event while holding items.
• Once the event starts you are transported into the event area.
• Gather supplies, and find a way to escape or defeat the undead.
• Score points for defeating the undead hoards and earn unique rewards.
• Manage to complete the event before the time is up for greater rewards.
• Players who participate in the event will find a gift bag awarded to them at the completion of the event.

Halloween Rewards

• Players will earn Holiday Coins during the event that can be used to purchase items from the Holiday Vendor.
• Progressing through the Challenge Event and defeating the event bosses will provide you with additional coins.
• The player that scores the most points during the event will receive additional coins and an event statue.
• Players will be able to purchase items from the Halloween Reward Vendor until 12/15/2013.

hah good point, There is only so many names you can come up with zombies. Their technical name is actually "EventZombie1" even less creative.

Feel free to post some suggestions however.

This event will challenge players abilities to work with limited supplies, in an unknown event arena. Each attempt at the event will help you master the monsters, find secret caches of weapons and supplies, and defeat the stage bosses. So its very possibly it will take 2,5,8 or more attempts for players to complete the event and defeat the Demon Knight, and even then, there could be additional surprises waiting.

Supplies will be found in various stash houses, on monsters and in secret locations. Supplies for all playstyles will be found in the event, however you might need to use some teamwork to gather effectively.

Yes there will be plenty of archer type supplies. Every monster custom designed for this event has custom loot code to make sure they drop weapons, supplies, and armor in balanced amounts.

This event operates much like Capture the Flag, so you sign up for the event, and after a delay the event begins. We will be doing some live testing on test center in the next few days. Keep an eye on IRC for testing broadcasts if you want to try it out.

1) Monsters award 1-50 points (from simple zombie to the final boss), Kills are just a record of how many overall kills that you got credit for during the event. The winner of the event is determined by points. However holiday coins are awarded to players for defeating the various bosses (ergo winning isnt everything)

2) Escape goes in line with finishing the event, we don't expect many players to actually get to the end of the event so that will be the ultimate goal. For example in our test last night we had 16 or so players, by the time they made it to the 3rd stage of the event, everyone had scattered and was running all over the place. Defeating the 3rd and 4th boss without teamwork will be a challenge.
