I think the idea is cool, but which time zone new years? We do have players all around the world and pick a spot. Though knowing me I'll be asleep because I'm boring like that.
I like the idea too. But I am hosting new years at my place so have guests over. Would always entertain a new years brunch... I can leave my ghost though. .
Yeah I don't think it's a dead community to blame. More to do with families and parties and such in rl.
I can certainly park a character running a macro running a macro that drinks booze all night, but I will be running the same macro IRL and likely won't be online for the majority of the evening.
ill park a char and show up sporadically. I'll try and mingle into Baler and have some drunk chit chat so that he doesn't start the new year so grumpy.
Starting things off at the Jhelom tavern. Place is nice and big as i'm sure its going to get FULL as the year draws to a close. Post on irc also to park characters there and maybe we can get the place looking busy!
