Greetings everyone! P'S is going to run another Hardmode Hunt. Can you believe this will be the 15th official HMH? Thanks for all the support guys and gals. Okay, here are the details: Hardmode Hunt 15 - Saturday, October 15th @ MIDNIGHT, Eastern Standard Time (11pm central, 9pm pacific) What this is: This is a survival type event. Players will meet at a designated location and ONLY are allowed to have the following items on their characters when we start: Newbie dagger Spellbook Blessed or non-blessed, non-defensive clothing Once everyone is gathered, chests will be made available to collect your starting gear. Limited supply of everything, so dont be greedy; take only what you need to begin the hunt. From there, we will be gated to a dungeon or spawn, and the group will work as a team to defeat the monsters, all the while collecting gear and hopefully upgrading, sharing, and crafting new things for each other. The conclusion of the event will be either a boss, a puzzle, or something else to be discovered. There will be return trips to have access to better loot chests. How this will work is as follows: Pay attention to the group leader (likely me) and follow the gate back to the starting zone. Drop ALL gold collected thus far into the pile and you will then have access to the next set of chests for upgraded gear. There will be NO MOUNTS for this event. TAMERS can only tame and use what they find in the wilds and on the hunt, excluding mounts of any kind. Crafters are welcome and encouraged to attend. All others, including reds, are invited to come as long as we all can get along. This has never been an issue in the past, so lets keep it that way. Also P'S implores you to leave beef and grudges at the door for this event, and just have fun with the community. Everyone who attends will receive a participation trophy! All loot and items, aside from gold (which goes in the pile to fund this event), is open for everyone! Be quick! Lets all get pumped and use this as a preamble for Night of Horrors! 1. Yes you can, you have earned that right in my opinion, oh white wizard. 2. Neat. 3. YES! We will likely be tackling enemies that drop scrolls AND they can be crafted for you if there are materials available.

Friday Night BUMP. Come out tomorrow and have some fun! Hunt with a group! Meet new friends! Get a trophy just for showing up! Challenge yourself by taking on monsters with sub-par gear! Attend an event style we have been running for over a year! WOOT
HMH was great! I hugged a poison elemental, watched the heroic death of Fuzzy the Bear, and helped take over an orc fort full of hellish filth. 10/10 would hug a poison elemental again.
I had a scribe render a visual collage of these events. After describing how our valiant squad of death-defiers handled impossible odds, the below were provided. The introduction was simple and concise. We were to obtain resources from the undead. Among them we found a corrupt healer who seemed to be dabbling in dark magics. His guilt and punishment were executed with severe prejudice. We then moved through several fortresses and caves of orcs and ratmen. Within the Ice Dungeon, we defeated besieged the ratman fortress and discovered a prisoner by the name of Ivan the Coward. One of our party, fearing this to be a trap, ended Ivan's cowardice without a second thought as to what this strange fellow was doing down in this fortress on the same night a hard mode hunt had been planned... the group did not dwell on this much as they did acquire crude bone armors and wands that would help them proceed with their hunt. After besting the best that the Ratmen, and orcs had to offer, we were feeling pretty self contented that we were invincible... and then there was the T2A City of the Dead fortress. Our objective to reach the center of the fort seemed a simple task. Oh did we mention there was an active poison champ spawn?... yeah, The Reaper's scythe was kept busy tonight. But eventually we did succeed and we busted through and completed the Hard Mode Hunt. Thanks @Lord Krake for running these! You have truly expanded on a beloved activity of mine.
