Hardmode Hunt 6

Hello all, MikeK and Keza with Project Sanctuary will proudly be hosting another amazing Hardmode Hunt on Saturday 9/26, @ 6pm EST 3pm PST

Everyone on the shard is welcome to come and participate! Please commit to sticking to the playstyle that is laid out in the rules.

HARDMODE HUNT

What this is: We will meet up at a specified city with NO GEAR and NO MOUNTS. I will then give everyone who is coming along a mere 300gold.
You then go buy TOWN GEAR only, nothing from player vendors, and no mounts. When we are outfitted we will gate to the hunt location.

The ONLY things are you allowed to have on you when you show up for the hunt are:
Newbie dagger
Spellbook
Blessed clothing or runebooks
Personal, non defensive clothing.

For hardmode hunts in the past, we have rampaged through many dungeons proving our strength, valor, and teamwork. However, a new location has begun to muster its forces to far greater strength and numbers! We expect to face a vast army of foes within this gem filled mine.

This will be a highly modified version of the default monsters and challenges.



We will still run this as open loot, killing everything we see and collecting better gear as we advance. Trophies will be obtained or given at the end.

Tamers will follow the rules of "gather your tames while we progress", so no tames to start and you can only tame what we meet in the wilds. (no mounts, tamed or bought)

This is FUN because it will test our micromanaging and survival skills, as well as our combat techniques and how well we work as a unit.

So, if you can, please plan for this hunt and start getting pumped up! MikeK and Keza will create #HMH in IRC an hour or so prior the start time. Please join that if you want to participate, as that is how details will be relayed!

Also don't worry about defensive clothing like cloaks and robes they still don't work

I just received word that the elusive Dungeon Fairy™ plans on attending what is sure to be a magnificent event.

Have these been turned back on? The gem filled mine has been down all week.

I'm using "wonderful airport free wifi" at the moment or I'd check but, is the Gem Filled Mine still closed?

Not sure if the instance is up and running right now, but we still have 7 days until the hunt.

Seems awesome! But I'm new to this shard and have only a 60 tamer with some mage to show up with. But hope I can join if I'm awake... Midnight in Sweden!
