Help with Healing...

I seem to be having difficulty raising my heal skill. I'm stuck in the low 40's and it barely goes up no matter if I'm healing something else, or myself.

I know from 60-80 people say to cure a snakes poison, and then 80-100 its good to res a ghost. What can I effectively gain heal skill in while 40-60?

Have you double checked your timers on your macros to make sure you aren't starting a new bandage before one is completely ran it's course? Sometimes client latency can mess up a perfectly timed macro

Yea 100 % not a timing issue. I just gained 50 anatomy, 25 parry, 13 swords, 15 tactics and 0.2 healing.

Set the timer a little longer between bandages. I bet you're healing too fast if anything

But I'm successfully healing my target gorilla I'm attacking, doesn't that mean that my timing is correct?

Am I going wrong by healing something else, and not myself?

Been out of the UO game for a long time... BUT...

Healing a pet, will raise Veterinary skill and not healing.
