Horrendous Lag

    Hi.

    When I started here last year I was running on a 60mbps fibre connection with average of 90-100 ping from the UK. I have sinced moved and am now on a 160mbps fibre line with roughly the same at normal times.

    I took a break from the game as didn't have a lot of time but I started playing again a couple of months ago and all was fine until a few weeks back I would get painfully bad lag spikes usually every 3-5 seconds. This is still happening. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, cleaning the registry etc but to no avail.

    The ping test shows no packet loss but I definitely do. It's an intermittent problem that happens in patterns.

    Is there anything that can be done? I know this isn't normal because my connection speed is in the top tier for the UK.

    Are you macro walking in Razor?

    Do you have CPU reduction checked in Razor?

    Do you have scavenger enabled?

    Hi

    I wish I could check all those... I deleted the game and tried again but now I'm getting an error message when I try to load the client from Razor: Unable to launch the client specified (error: UNKOWN_ERROR) TwoD followed by the directory.

    I have tried setting manually but the same thing. Twice now have I reinstalled and getting this. Is it a corrupted download perhaps?

    Sorry for the escalation in the error...

    Been a bit busy over the last couple of weeks but am now able to login... however have checked all of the above you mentioned and they're all disabled.

    Any further advice?

    This sounds like what happened to me when I tried to move in a macro.

    You could try to use WTFast.
    You will propably get a better connection to the Renaissance server from the UK that way.
