I'm in support of the painted horse additions that have been suggested but holy shit am I ever in support of this. FFS, I just want the brown horses and always feel like I got ripped off when I don't get one. lol

Anyone can bond any horse, so any real potential gold sink there was literally wrecked by adding bonding. I just ride ethereals these days, so technically it would probably sink more gold to have the variety selection.

I play here because I like the era mechanics. I really don't want to change anything, and I'm tired of hearing from those who do.

If you don't like the way things are here, maybe it's time to find a new server.

If you don't like hearing from those who want to change things in a custom free shard based on a production server run 15 years ago, log off of the forums.

Or, you could take a baby step and just stay out of the "Era Discussion" forum that is literally "The place for any and all discussion of the Renaissance era. Suggestions, improvements, research, etc."

Where I come from, sometimes you just need to grit your teeth and tell the whiners to STFU and be thankful for what they have.

This is one of the best out there. If I'm going to leave, it's not because of the forums. It's because the admins have strayed from their stated mission of providing a Renaissance era-accurate shard.

Today, just like 15 years ago, there are some who incessantly call for the newbification of the shard. I'm sure you remember what happened when OSI went down that route. Screw that...
