Is there a guide somewhere to the relative rarity of certain hues in cloth/sandals/etc? It would be nice to know what I'm farming/buying and whether or not it's actually worth anything.
I'll take a stab at this. For cloth I'd see the BoD rewards thread, other than npc cloth or cloth from elves for perhaps I'm not really aware of any rare hue cloth. viewtopic.php?f=4&t=568 As far as I know for sandals from most rare to least rare; Barbed, Horned, and Spined hue sandals, these are no longer craftable BoD reward hues like Black, Purple, Silver ect.. Leather dye tub hued sandals Regularly spawning 13xx, 18xx, and 19xx hued sandals. I think the last two are both pretty common since leather dye tubs are cheap at the moment.
There isn't yet Zagyg, however we try to overachieve here, so in the not to distant future there will be an addition to the website item information section that will allow you to see hue distribution on the server by item. http://www.uorenaissance.com/?page=m_items For instance you could click on sandals and see a rundown of each sandal, by hue, with a count that exist. Obviously not high on the priority list, but its on my todo list for the myUOR section of the website.
Can't wait to see that addition. Will be really nice for the masses. For the record, I have the only pair of spined sandals created by Gosalyn before special hide sandal crafting was patched out. SHARD UNIQUE!!! Will never sell!!!
Jealous! Gosalyn told me that they only crafted a single pair of Spined Sandals, pre-patch. You may have some spined, but you will NEVER have my exceptionals crafted by Gosalyn. The end.
