A time has come upon the realm of Britannia wherein an order of good need muster in direct affront to the evils in the lands. There is much activity with various orcish tribes in the area of the Shrine of Compassion. Rumors have stirred as well, of a force of undead unlike any we have faced before, building their armies of corpses to do our people harm. None need be reminded of the savage Incans that still move about this world, virtually unabated, slaying the innocent with little remorse.

In consideration of these scourges in Britannia, order must be restored to these lands. It is my belief that only a mighty kingdom will be force enough to carry out such a daunting task.

In accordance with my public declarations at the guild meeting during the day of the seventeenth, on our month of February, in this year of Two Thousand and Thirteen (2-17-2013), I declare myself King of the Lands of OoO.
This kingdom includes the town of Minoc up to, and including, its southern borders as far as the Moongate, It's lands as far as the bridge on the east side of Mt. Kendal and all of the land north to the water beyond the High Steppes.

Henceforth, Adventure Time will be a monarchy, and the greatest kingdom in the lands, by my will until death and our people forever! As the solitary and supreme leader, I feel a pang of reluctance to crown myself in such a fashion. This may not be a comforting, or even an acceptable, change for some. Know that I do this with our best intentions in mind, as a large and strong guild of good people. I have come to this end over many months of consideration and desire to provide a true path and alignment for our people. Once a group of adventurers with no restriction but to treat each other and those outside the guild with respect, until they prove to deserve otherwise. We will have order. We will have roles to fill and a duty to uphold in Britannia. Not for ourselves or any notion of inherent superiority over others, but for the realm as a whole to prosper without living in fear of the wicked.

My fellow leaders of Adventure Time, the Lady Avery and his Lordship Les Claypool, have chosen to support this change and will remain as they have always been, in a way, my voice of reason and my hand in battle, respectively. In accordance with my title of King, I appoint the Lady Avery, Mama Bear of Adventure Time, our Mistress of Mercantile, Royal Counsel to the King. I do also appoint the Lord Les Claypool, Master Bassist, our Master at Arms, Royal Counsel to the King.

There are several roles to be filled, should we have the members bold enough to do so. If there is something of interest to you and there are no current appointments for it, please suggest it to your King or his Executive Counsel.

Moving forward, our guild titles will reflect this change in various ways, as I will describe here.
Legacy titles of old, will be respected and unchanged, unless preferred by the bearer.
In your earliest stages, one must only be a member of the guild in good standing. However, in order to reach higher ranks within the hierarchy of the Kingdom of OoO, one must live up to the standards set forth below, as it pertains to each title.

    Thieves:
There will be no thieves in the Kingdom of OoO, who steal from the innocent. Stealing from our enemies and disarm thievery in combat, is not criminal in the eyes of the King.
Regardless of guild affiliation, stealing from non-combative members of opposing guilds is not acceptable unless under direct order from the King or Counsel.
A random title will be selected for your thief character. Guild title and abbreviation are to be disabled through the guild stone.

WARRING OTHER GUILDS: Laws of the Land and a Code of Honor
As a core of lawful good citizens in the realm of Britannia, we will war evildoers upon consideration of the declaration by the King and Counsel. We will only war guilds who will agree upon Rules of Engagement, as determined by leadership of both guilds. Our standards include respect in the field of battle. All is well in the name of role play, but if you choose to take up words with our enemies, do so with dignity and respect of the good name of Adventure Time. Our fallen enemies will not be subject to dry looting. Disarmament of a fine weapon is not terrible but know that the sooner our enemies can resurrect and get geared up, the sooner we can get back to fighting them. Our wars will not be about who can take the most from the other, but who can have the most fun. Finding all new gear every time we die, is not fun. It happens, we should be prepared for that, but with other guilds we war, that should never be how we treat them. If they begin to treat us in such a way, the War will be called off and we will cease to battle with such dishonorable folks. As it stands, murder counts should not be given to any member of URK. They will not give you a count if you attack them at will, prior to any war declaration. They should already be in accordance with these guidelines and are savage beasts, not murderers.

    Society of Traders:
Maintained primarly by our Mistress of Mercantile, Avery, the Society of Traders will be the place for all of our tradesfolk. Crafters and Traders will be safe in S^T knowing that no war will ever be declared or accepted on this guild stone.
A fully fleshed out title structure does not currently exist but there may be change to this in the future based on desire or need.

    Faction Time:
Combat oriented members, or those fighters having advanced in the combat ranks of Adventure Time, and wishing to get involved in the big fight for control of towns and domination of the lands of Britannia, may choose to transition to the Faction Time guild stone. Under the seasoned guidance of our Master of Arms, Les Claypool, this militant branch of Adventure Time will fight together for glory, honor and domination of all that is within our potential. Faction Time is a Shadow Lord guild and membership to the guild will require membership in the Shadow Lord Faction. We are still a good people but hold no bones about the slaughter of enemy factioners. Whilst preferring an honorable fight, with minor disarmament, dry looting of the fallen is highly frowned upon and should not happen except in the most serious cases of vengeance. We are not murderers, but we most definitely will be hunting them with these characters. War invitations will be reviewed by the King and Counsel for consideration with notice being given to our members on prior to acceptance.

If I have removed you from the guild, it was due to lack of representation in the Roll Call thread, or lack of activity. Don't assume a problem unless you were contacted and told why you were removed.
We can add you back in at any time if you wish to be a good citizen in these lands.

If you are shown to be an unsavory character, murdering and looting others, you will be removed and notified of such before or after removal as I have the time.

Looking at this post my King, I can't but notice the dire need of a fashion advisor to the King, as, although it pains me to say it, but thy choice of colors is most horrendous! :D

Honestly, one of the things weighing most on my mind in regards to the change, is the lack of style....I do love my purple, but I failed to include any uniforms or dress code.
I would love to see some suggestions for theme/colors for different roles, like green for rangers, etc.

Anyone interested in putting some effort to that, is more than welcome. I'm all ears to suggestions and working with the people to make this the greatest, and best dressed, kingdom in the lands! ;)
Perhaps our crafters working together in S^T would help. I've got a tailor (as do most) that can be put to use for such efforts. :)

I like the idea of guildcolors/themes for different roles... Green does work well for rangers, maybe blue for fighters, but bards are a little tougher since as we all know bards tend to be an eclectic bunch. Might I suggest a mild range of colors for this particular group? Such as Red through Purple on the dye tub table?

As for uniforms, mages wear robes with sandals, Fighters in Tunics or Surcoats w/ Kilt or Skirt, Rangers in armor with Body Sash??

Anyway just some of my thoughts.

And I would be happy to donate my tailor, Nathan Explosion's time to providing clothes.

Bring your little URK buddies back around the A^T Hall sometime.. We will be more than happy to fertilize our fields with your rotting corpses and post your heads on spikes atop the walls.
