Mornin' folks! So I got PK'd last night -- and it was awesome. *clears throat and gets out his story journal* So there I was battling monsters for gold and treasure when suddenly I noticed a red name just a few tiles away! Blinking in disbelief I remember wondering where'd they come from? No matter, I hit my trust escape macro. Now I'm not sure if my magic reflect was down but I then took a severe blow to the head and in disbelief watched orc after orc come out of the shadows all around me. They swung all manner of weapon in my direction as I tried to escape through the narrow halls and doors where I was hunting. Healing myself and dodging orcs I charged towards a gate that would give me time to escape. But just as I reached for the door -- I slipped and ran right past it. Then found myself between a dead end and a mob of orcs with pointy things. It was at this moment I found myself feeling like that Australian guy in Jurassic Park. "Clever girl..." Then I died. But seriously that's the coolest way I've died in years!
The orcs broke through the protective barrier around Paws in similar fashion! there was no sound of a gate ripping a hole in the air to give me warning that my doom is come! Only the garbled sound of a ruthless orc commander calling orders as he sprang from the shadows. I was able to muster some forces, Lord Ezzenglade sent us a farmer and some battle bulls, Lord Lestat tried to civilize them with his lute, but the orcs are quite well prepared. Next time I shall not be caught so unawares! (I hope)
Same happened to me once, but I saw a gate open. Preparing my escape macro I waited and watched ... After a while the gate closed but no one had come through Curious as I was I ran up to where the gate had been to see if I could find any hidden thief lurking there. To my surprise I didn't, instead I ran into a band of hidden orcs that in just a few strikes had me dow in the grass and ripped my throat. It was a good death and I curse myself for being fooled so easily, will not happen again, I hope (just as Jupiter)
Yeah i like these bunch of orcs too! They tried me a few times, but i always was lucky enough to escape! See u soon Orcs!
I suspect it to be humans in the guise of orcs, obviously a false flag event in order to cause a war between the humans and orcs. Most likely those power hungry central bankers from Magincia, those megalomaniacs will stop at nothing to increase their profits.
