First, THANK YOU for bothering to make the game work on Mac. Brilliant.

Has anyone found a workaround to get the music working? The music is half the nostalgia and warm feeling.

    Thank you

I gave up on Wine and run Parallels now. When you're in Coherence mode, it's almost exactly like running a native macOS app. And, the music works :)

Thanks. Do you need to own a copy of windows for that?

Not really, and by that I mean you can run it unactivated for a long time. I've heard people say indefinitely, as long as you don't mind the activation nag and not being able to personalize your wallpaper.

Parallels, however, is only a two-week trial, and costs $80 to register it.

If you have the space available (I think you need ~25 gigs), it's worth a shot. I have the trial running and unactivated windows, and everything's great. To have this slick of an integration on my Mac, I don't mind the $80.
