Idea for an upgrade to Boat crafting

    I was thinking it would be cool if based on the resources used we could craft boats with different colors, like armor. The resources could reflect where they are used, the cloth influences the sail, the wood the boat and the metal could be loosely translated into the pegs around the boat and the mast. Just wanted to put that out into the ether while the idea was fresh.

    How about have one side of the board not have a rail so pets and melee sea monsters and it would also be boardable by any vessel.

    I get that the concept is a little Trammy, I am certainly not advocating for neon boats. I just thought it would be a modest cosmetic change that could really boost the value of boat crafting, especially if the materials going into it are more expensive/ harder to get.
