Hello fellow infiltrators and aspiring infiltrators, Starting from March 8th through March 10th, I will be dropping a total of 100 holiday coins into locked dungeon chests: Everyone is encouraged to participate but keep in mind that you will need the lockpicking skill to unlock dungeon chests to gather the holiday coins inside. Also remember that these chests are booby trapped. You have to disarm the trap before collecting your coins There are 3 ways to do this: >> Telekinesis (magery spell) from a distance of the chest: >> Remove Trap >> Being 1-2 tiles away from chest before opening it. The trap will go off but you will be out of range of its blast radius. (Easiest method): I plan on doing this throughout the week to get as many people involved as possible. If you've already got a couple of runebooks to the level 4 chest locations or have seen them around popular runebook libraries -- I will not use those locations exclusively. As such, you can expect to find holiday coins in level 2 and level 3 dungeon chests too.
They can be redeemed at the reward vendor in banks; however keep I mind you need quite a few to use them. You can also sell them to other players for 6-7k each right now.
Was supposed to use up the remaining 20 coins today but didn't get a chance to play. Should be able to do that tomorrow and then I'll post locations of the chests I used on Sunday around 2pm CST.
