You need to install a flash policy daemon at irc.chat4all.org (port 7000).
Common known issue with no resolution in sight. Two work arounds are getting yourself a 3rd party IRC client (hex chat, miirc, etc) or... closing the bugged IRC window and trying again.
I can't get on IRC on my phone. ("Giving up after 3 reconnect attempts"?! At least mIRC will try like 1000x before quitting!)
