Jholem Bulls PKing

Why y'all keep killing tamers(my tamer ) at Jholem Bulls? I understand competition but there's plenty of bulls and great hart's being herded in by 2 mule characters for a few tamer macros.

We can all play nice and get gains!

I have 0 issues PKing right back tho until we all learn to play nicely.

Not I'm at work and was checking gains through through the player search and saw mine was in ghost form.

Last night it was one of the tamers there named "of the Tamers" obviously plans on getting Lord title because that's cool and original.

After using my death history (forgot I could check that too)

I’m sorry that you’re having trouble GMing taming (the most lucrative skill in the game) afk. Hope someone can put an end to the guy killing you so you may resume those free gains!!

Something like 80% of the servers PK'ing happens along those fences.

It is super frustrating but if you're AFK out in the open, it will happen. The bull pens are cut throat as a motherfucker.

Best advice? Hand out as many counts as you can and kill them in stat.

First tamer as a new player over there, I get the frustration. Raising any other tamers after that and understanding how powerful they are, I get it from the pks perspective

So in your eyes ranting and raving is not allowed here on the forums and I should just take it with a grain of salt.

I understand the world and the PKing "game". Played vanilla and have had my fair share of my own player griefing. Did it a lot on second age(this shard is better btw). Just think it's silly for players to kill along those fences when there's plenty to of animals to go around.

I'll be sure to actively farm macroers while I'm gaining.

I was PKd there numerous times.
Expect to get killed if afk outside guard zone/not in a home. Part off the game.

Fact is, griefing afk players (usually newer by the way) is the lamest of the lame. Interesting glimpse at how people choose to display themselves there. And yes, there is a lot of that here. I've never understood that.

You can burn short term counts here afk soooooo easily, it's not even funny. Dying in stat loss means nothing but switching characters and continuing, until you can res the next day.

Agreed OP, pretty lame stuff. Personally my advice would be to just ignore. Res when you get home, and keep playing on another client. Despite the griefers, you will still GM fast.

On a serious note. I expect to get PKed macroing even in my own house if I don't put myself in a safe spot. It's human nature for some to greif every chance they can. Always has been the case on this game.

It would be 1 thing if a PK just ran by and slaughtered all the Tamers simply to grief them. But when it's a fellow tamer that is being greedy, that's different. Like I said on my original post there are enough bulls and great hart's being herded(if you're actually a good macroer and made a 2nd account for herding) that 3-4 Tamers can share the area with that serpent doing work on the resets.

If you'd buy my super pet jerky (featured at a vendor by the pens) none of this would happen.

Well if I could get my free gains and GM taming I might have a reason to buy your super pet jerky. But this vicious circle of mean ole griefers isn't letting me.

I feel your pain Jeebs. I had been a BIG advocate for implementing Trammel for a long time now. I hate the fact that I have to worry about other players when I am out trying to do my thing. It's hard enough that I have to worry about NPC spawn killing me, I shouldn't have to worry about players as well. It becomes a mental burden at some point and honestly discourages me from even leaving the guard zone.

Need a pop up before you are allowed to kill anyone. If they don't respond you can't attack.

No no no. Trammel is not needed. I honestly believe that was the downfall of retail UO. Thats why shard like these exist.

I just think there should be some sort of honor code. Back in the day macroing was more rare as Razor didn't exist and UOA/UOE etc were illegal 3rd party programs and being caught macroing was jail time or suspension/ban.

So this wasnt an issue in vanilla since you had to actually work on your skills and if you got PKed that was on you.
