Hey, i have just logged in and got a painfull lag. Every 2 Steps my Char will stand still for a short period before he continues running. Do you now if this kind of lag is caused by the server or by me? Yesterday i could run totally fine. Thanks for your help
A good test would be to try the -ping command ingame for a few sessions and see what the results are. Also you can try this test as a quick check to see if it is your computer/internet service provider or your connection to the server. Open a Command Prompt (Start > Run and type cmd) Type in this into the black command window ping google.com -t You should see something like this. If you are lagging and your pings to Google are in to 200-1000 range there it is probably something on your end. If you are lagging and your ping to Google is fine, it could be something between your internet service provider and the game server. Post your results here and we will do our best to help out.
I just started the game now and now there is almost no lag. My connection should anyway be ok, because i can play every game online without lag except for uo sometimes . Maybe my firewall does something. The next time it appears i will try if turning of the fw does something.
Right now after World Save the lagging is back on. Has nothing to do with my firewall. edit: But restarting my client solved the problem. Hope these infos can help you ,)
We were having a host issues around midnight cst, however this should be resolved now. If the problems persist let us know and we will look into it.
Its still the same with the lag. But everytime i start my client new the lag is gone for a while. Don t know the reason, but i can live with that at the moment.
