Instead of having lighting wands as a spammable object how about adding a 5 second delay to them while allowing for full damage lighting. This will allow for some neat syncs with lighting wands on the run to help in fights where people are running a lot. This will also motivate people to buy more lighting wands helping out the pvmers who want to sell and get rid of them.
You seem to have tons of concepts for a shard you don't like. You should donate 5 bucks a month and get access to the development forum so you can spam that with all your shitty ideas.
Looks like the runners are back at hating ideas that will keep them from running. And I won't ever donate to a shard again.
UO isnt a game of JUST PVP, if you want a game were people MUST pvp and cannot run.. go play LOL. Or, learn how to play with-in the rules provided and get better at your craft.
Lol, isn't even a game nearly related to UO. When there isn't any new content, pvp is the only other option and most fun.
I am not opposed to new ideas (not that it matters anyway, right?), but I dont have all the facts: How much is the damage reduced right now from lightning wands compared to spell cast lightnings? And is it era accurate how it is? Maybe you could try to organize some kind of pvp event?
Removed don't feel like talking crap to you. I would be fine with a delay if lightning wands would do spell damage. As they stand right now they do minimum damage
Also making cures not spammable could help build diversity and making GM poisoning relevant again. While i believe no changes will ever happen kudos for trying.
