"But my Dear Oni, This enchanted box will keep thy valuables secure." Those words still ring in my ear as I sit here now with a smile on my face writing in my journal. I remember back to the day that Master Gerber approached me in his floppy hat and dirty miner's robe begging me to take the box he had skillfully designed. "Someday it will prove its worth, my Dear," he had said.
I remember taking the box out of curiosity and courtesy I remember now how he scampered happily away with a chuckle and a mischievous grin on his face. For many days I have carried this little box and my valuables in it, more of a whim than for security. Often, I look at the little box and wonder about its secrets as I empty valuables collected into more secure or permanent containers. Oh, by the way, I am grinning even more widely now, for now I understand the chuckle and grin. The Lord of the Crafters is truly named as his skill is unmatched and the cunning in his hands and mind are unsurpassed. For on this very night, many days after I was given this humble little box, it has proved its worth. Whilst escorting a traveler to the town of Oello, as all will know, the shady side of life clings to the outskirts of this town just waiting for an opportunity to relieve travelers of there heavy loads. I do not travel here much without company, but the traveler was desperate to reach Oello. My compassion won out over my discretion, so I went. *Oni chuckling out loud now*. The shady side was there to greet me. "Thank you Lord of all the Crafters. Another box please."
