Not really a problem, just an oddity. The gump for tinkering gives me an indication that my GM quality items have been given my maker's mark, even when it doesn't. In my most recent experience, with shovels, they get their 100 uses of durability but are otherwise unmarked. I'm guessing it just needs a more appropriate message in the gump for that to just say I crafted an exceptional quality item, sans the maker's mark application. I don't think tinkered items should have maker's marks in general and I'm not even sure if any really do.
Tinker created Jewelery should have Maker's Mark on it, no doubt ! And exceptional items should get an [exceptional] tag ...
I really like the idea of gm tinkered jewelry having the maker's mark on it. Is there any way to do the multiple stone jewelry or is that not accurate to the period? I remember seeing "10,000 diamond earrings" and the like back in the day on OSI, but can't remember if that was this time period or later....
I remember that too, The Watch. It would tell you how many gems were in the earrings and stuff, pretty sure that was Ren era, maybe mid to late.
