And what does it mean to be a Pfniffel? It proved to have more depth than I first expected! This was revealed to me, aye, almost like an epifany, as two players encountered me in Ocllo the other day (see next post!). So... The answer to this greatest of questions may be found below: Now introducing to you, for the first time in history, the Pfniffel Fanclub! To be part of this fine society it is encouraged that you once in a while dress up in a cheerful, blossomingly colorful Pfniffel suit. That is, with your Franz Pfniffel toon. Pfniffel suits are defined as sparkling with color and always crowned with a jester hat. Exceptions can be made, as in the case of Hanz Pfniffel for example. You are also encouraged to add any of the above fanclub tags provided above in your forum signature. While doing all of this, you may also engage in fruitful conversation and action with people in the streets! In this thread, any Mischief of the Pfniffels may be recorded by anyone. This may be done in many forms, comics, pictures, quotes, etc.
Yes, Saint Dog still is without a permit. He may be done taming now, but his lack of permit for the time he spent taming still needs to be accounted for. This explains the recent string of H^S house lootings and murders. Any cA member is more than happy to work with him in the purchase of a permit to cover his retroactive taming.
I met some Pfniffels in Occlo last night. Sadly my unwillingness to hang around and be picked clean by them cost a new player the opportunity to sell me 3000 ingots and make himself some money. Perhaps you should tell your minions to go somewhere else because their presence there does the newcomers to the shard a great disservice.
^ this. You can even see in one of the comics Franz asking them to move along from Occlo...that there are other places to hunt so-to-speak. These new "Pfniffels" are only hurting the name of the TRUE Franz in my opinion...preying on the new players to the shard is petty and weak...also...they still haven't even taken the 2 minutes to change their outfits to something bright and happy!. The proof is in the pudding...only moments ago near the Occlo bank...
Hehe, yes I did actually tell them to spread to the end of the earth! But theyre an unruly and undisciplined lot! But I like it!
I think it's a great concept and potentially very entertaining. Unfortunately in practice all I've seen them do is harass new players in Occlo. I watched one get so mad she quit and gave all her stuff to another new player then logged because she was being relentlessly targeted and verbally harassed. Not in the charming way the real Franz does it.
