new character Auto name change?

    so I made a new character named Chris.
    when he appeared in the world his name was "Generic Player"

    is that normal?

    That and a few other names are not allowed on UOR. Rule against using staff names, not sure if there is an actual list of names that you cant use. I'v definitely seen some pretty questionable names out there lately *caughts* Tentacle Porn

    Maybe @Chris has something to add?

    yeah you cant use Chris...

    Page in game with your new name choice...

    Generic Player is normally given to someone with an offensive name, in your case its a prohibited name

    I saw a generic player this days and i though it was his real name... Actually he behaved like and generic player, doing and talking generic things in occlo i thought it was real.
